Job Title:
Linux System Administrator – TS/SCI with Poly Required (CI or FS)
Location:
Aurora, CO (Onsite)
Schedule:
Full-time | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Occasional after-hours and on-call support
What You Will Do
We are hiring a Linux System Administrator to support a classified program in a secure environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Building, maintaining, and securing IT systems
Directly supporting mission-critical customer capabilities
Collaborating with developers and system engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
Supporting after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations
Performing hardware installations (must be able to lift up to 35 lbs)
Occasionally traveling to support installation activities
This is an onsite position.
Qualifications You Must Have
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR
Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with polygraph required at time of hire
U.S. Citizenship required
Certifications:
DoD 8570 IAT Level II (or higher) certification required
Acceptable certs: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, or CND
Technical Experience:
Proficient in administering Red Hat Linux systems
Includes patching, RPM creation, performance tuning, networking, LDAP-based user management, and security hardening
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef
Scripting proficiency in Bash and Python
Experience managing Windows-based systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory)
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) deployments and administration
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot system-level issues efficiently
Work Environment:
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Aurora, CO. Some after-hours and travel support will be required.
