Java Developer Remote in Denver only with Security Clearance

Industry: In this role you will be supporting a Law Enforcement Branch.
Clearance: In this job you will undergo a government background check and gain a Public Trust Clearance.
Location: Denver Area - you will work from home remotely and go in only for meetings or events. (Note: Location is catty-corner from Lakewood - to the NE of Denver. Pay: salary $100,000 - $115,000 or 1099 at 60.00 per hour.
Work Permit: For this job all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate need for a Software Developer (Mid). Software Developer (Mid) Responsibilities: • Provide technical direction for the development of a major web application using modern Java web technologies. • Work with project and user management to define requirements, estimate time and costs, and prioritize features. • Mentor and assist other team members as required. • Provide technical expertise and contribute to all aspects of the design, development, testing, and support of Java web applications. Software Developer (Mid) Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar degree with relevant technical experience. • 3 - 5 years' experience developing applications using Java 8 or higher. • Knowledge of Java and web technologies including Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Web, SQL database design and development, JPA and/or Hibernate, web services, HTML, and JavaScript. • Experience with automated testing and web application deployment. • Experience with user-focused design and mobile-friendly web applications. • Experience developing websites that meet Section 508 (persons with disabilities) standards. • Experience implementing security and privacy best practices for web applications. • Experience with Federal Information System Security standards is preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. • Experience in developing and deploying applications in a Cloud-based environment. • Knowledge or experience with AI developer tools is a plus.
