About your team

You’ll join a cross-functional product team focused on building a world-class learning experience for millions of users.

As our Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll work at the intersection of product, design, and engineering to build and improve the web experience.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, product designers, and engineers to ship high-impact features, improve performance, and create fast, intuitive user journeys. You’ll play a key role in shaping how users experience Mimo on the web.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll spend most of your time building, shipping, and iterating, with real ownership over the parts of the product you work on.

Tech Stack

Our frontend is built with React and TypeScript, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

What you’ll be doing

• You build and ship. You design, develop, and launch user-facing features end-to-end in close collaboration with product and design.

• You shape the product. You contribute to product decisions and help define how features should work, not just how they’re implemented.

• You care about our users. You identify UX issues, care about load times and performance, and ensure a fast, smooth experience.

• You write high-quality code. You follow best practices, keep the codebase maintainable, and make thoughtful technical trade-offs.

• You use AI as a lever. You use tools like LLMs to move faster, explore solutions, and improve your output.

Requirements

You’ll thrive in this role if

• You’re a seasoned frontend developer. You have 4+ years of experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript.

• You think like a product engineer. You care about the user experience and take ownership beyond just implementation.

• You move with ownership. You take responsibility for problems end-to-end and follow through.

• You handle complexity well. You’re comfortable working on challenging problems and finding pragmatic solutions.

• You care about quality. You write clean, reliable code and pay attention to detail.

• You’re curious about AI. You’re excited about how AI is changing how software is built and actively use it in your workflow.

• We work best in UTC ±0 to +3. It helps us collaborate smoothly and move fast.

• If you're outside that range, we’ll support your move to Austria with relocation and a work permit.

• You can work from home, join us at our Vienna HQ, or use a co-working stipend wherever you are.
