KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Comprehensive Partner Engagement: Proactively identify and engage potential new partners, focusing on creating a diverse and valuable network of service providers, software vendors, and e-commerce experts that align with MDS's community needs.
  • End-to-End Partner Management: Manage the entire partnership lifecycle, from initial outreach and negotiation to successful integration into MDS's partner ecosystem, ensuring clarity and fulfillment of partnership agreements.
  • Strategic Sales Initiatives: Collaborate with the Head of Partnerships to devise and implement sales strategies for community pack sales, event sponsorships, and affiliate programs, aiming to meet or exceed revenue targets and content objectives.
  • Event Sales and Execution: Drive the sales of individual and bundle event packages, ensuring each partnership aligns with event themes and goals. Oversee the execution of partner deliverables for events, guaranteeing commitments are met with excellence.
  • Community Pack and Affiliate Sales: Promote subscriptions for virtual community deliverables, including email campaigns, special promotions, and exclusive partner offers. Manage affiliate sales ensuring members benefit from services in the membership database, and MDS receives agreed-upon commissions.
  • Commission and Strategic Relationship Development: Facilitate high-value strategic partnerships that may involve more complex arrangements, such as business sales or unique service offerings, ensuring a win-win for MDS, its members, and partners.
  • #MDSONLY Offer Coordination: Curate and manage exclusive discounts and special offers from partners, striving to provide unparalleled value to MDS members while maintaining the quality and competitiveness of the offers.
  • Partner Database Management: Maintain and enhance the internal partner database, ensuring it's up-to-date with partner information, member reviews, and relevant content, making it a valuable resource for MDS members.
  • Perks Program Implementation: Work with partners to provide free value-adding offers to members, such as tools, consultations, or services that serve as beneficial lead generation opportunities for partners while enriching the member experience.
  • Event Representation and Networking: Represent MDS at global e-commerce events, leveraging these opportunities to network with potential partners, promote MDS, and gather insights on industry trends and member needs.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of partnership strategies, affiliate sales, and event deliverables. Continuously refine approaches based on engagement metrics, conversion rates, and partner and member feedback.
  • Content Creation and Collaboration: Assist in creating compelling content and presentations for partnership pitches, community updates, and event promotions, collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistency and impact.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay abreast of e-commerce and partnership trends, seeking innovative ways to enhance MDS's partnership programs, community offerings, and member value.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in business development or sales, especially in e-commerce.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Airtable, ClickUp, etc.
  • Autonomous work ethic with team collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel for business and community events.
