About the Role:
The Finance team provides critical support to the Business Unit Executives and Function Heads within the company during the monthly close, forecasting as well as long range and annual planning cycles. The team also supports various analysis for strategic initiatives and deal pricing. The finance organization is flat and lean, offering the visibility to the senior executive team and opportunity to influence the business.
This role will support one of our main Business Units and would include responsibilities for the following activities;
- Develop monthly closing packages including Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet & Statement of Cash Flow, deep understanding of all key drivers of the business and have ability to quickly analyze the impact as business conditions change.
- Understanding of the business beyond financials to anticipate needs and areas of potential business improvement.
- Using functional expertise, intellectual curiosity, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain integrative relationships within the organizing provide decision support and recommendations to the management team.
- Manage, track and report sales activities and results to track the performance against the plan and forecasts.
- Help with the integration of recently acquired entities.
- Any ad-hoc analysis required to support various business initiatives and/or support new deals as well as renewals of the existing contracts.
What You Will Need To Succeed:
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 to 4 years of experience working in finance organization preferably in IT services, Software or Hi-tech
- Strong knowledge and experience with Financial statements, business analysis as well as Accounting
- Ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner to Business/Finance Executives
- Strong understanding of Project financials (budget/invoicing/accruals, etc.)
- Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite especially in Excel and working knowledge of Tableau/Power BI
- Experience with using NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
