The Datacenter Program Manager will drive key initiatives supporting Milestone clients with a specific focus on AI Factory Datacenters. This role is centered on managing the lifecycle of physical and virtual assets within client datacenters to ensure efficiency, traceability, and readiness for AI/ML workloads. You will support programs related to logistics and asset management, supply chain, capacity planning, procurement, lifecycle tracking, and compliance, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and modern AI infrastructure demands.
As a key member of the infrastructure program team, you will work across multiple business units—including Engineering, Finance, and Operations—to maintain accurate asset records, ensure operational excellence, and optimize infrastructure utilization in high-density, AI-centric datacenter environments.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management & Strategy
- Develop and manage strategic asset lifecycle programs tailored for AI Factory environments.
- Define program objectives, performance metrics, and continuous improvement KPIs that support client goals.
Asset Lifecycle Management
- Maintain an accurate, real-time inventory of all datacenter assets (e.g., GPU servers, AI appliances, networking gear) from procurement to decommissioning.
- Oversee processes for provisioning, deployment, reallocation, and secure disposal of hardware to ensure seamless AI workload execution.
Capacity Planning & Optimization
- Work closely with client infrastructure teams to forecast compute and storage needs for AI/ML workloads.
- Monitor resource usage and identify optimization opportunities to support scalability and cost-efficiency.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with client procurement teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely acquisition and deployment of AI-ready infrastructure.
- Track warranties, maintenance contracts, and refresh cycles for high-value, performance-critical assets.
Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Implement and manage asset tracking protocols that meet industry compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2) and client-specific standards.
- Prepare comprehensive audit documentation and ensure asset transparency throughout the infrastructure stack.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate with client teams across engineering, finance, and business units to align asset management with broader operational goals.
- Deliver detailed reports and executive dashboards on asset utilization, capacity status, and infrastructure readiness.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
- Identify and implement tooling and process improvements that enhance the visibility, automation, and control of asset management in AI-intensive environments.
- Drive innovation in asset governance models that support dynamic, scalable AI Factory operations.
Required Skills & Experience
• Familiarity with asset management and inventory management concepts
- Knowledge of asset lifecycle best practices, especially as they relate to compute hardware.

- Ability to prioritize initiatives across multiple workstreams and interface with client executives.

- Proficient in using asset tracking databases and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to generate real-time insights.
- Strong ability to turn asset data into meaningful, strategic business decisions.
• Process & Compliance Knowledge
- Expertise in compliance and auditing requirements for datacenter and AI-related infrastructure environments.
- Experience managing documentation and controls in accordance with ITIL, ISO, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in datacenter operations, infrastructure program management, or asset control within an AI-focused environment.
