Java Integration Developer (12 month contract) designing and developing Java-based integrations using Spring Integration, Apache Camel, or Camel K, APIs using FHIR standards, and authorization logic using JavaScript. Developing, deploying, and troubleshooting applications using Docker containers and Kubernetes.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud engineering environments
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong experience with web technologies and API development using REST, FHIR, Java, JavaScript, Spring Framework, and FHIR programming frameworks
Experience developing and securing web services
Experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments
Experience with container-based development and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and continuous deployment practices
Experience with FHIR resource development, transformation, and validation within healthcare IT
Working knowledge of relational databases and version control tools
Experience developing high-quality, testable code and writing unit tests
Experience using Git, including GitHub Actions
Strong API development skills
Experience integrating with third-party back-end APIs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong interest in emerging technologies and trends in healthcare IT
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
