  • Translate product intent into clear technical requirements, acceptance criteria, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on solution design, architectural alignment, and modeling system interactions.
  • Provide technical context during high-level estimations, sprint planning, refinement, and development discussions.
  • Create and maintain internal documentation related to services, data flows, APIs, and domain models.
  • Surface risks, opportunities, and innovations relevant to our architecture, AI capabilities, and healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7, DSM, etc.).
  • Support Engineering, QA, Customer Success, and Operations by providing clear context on system behavior and upcoming changes.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
  • 5+ years in a technical product, systems analysis, engineering, or technical program role.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and integrations.
  • Experience writing technical requirements and acceptance criteria with Product Managers.
  • Ability to translate between business needs and technical details clearly and effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with architects and engineering leads on solution design.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Comfort working remotely and collaborating across time zones.

Bonus Experience

  • Exposure to technologies in healthcare or other regulated industries.
  • Experience with AI/ML-driven products, workflow automation, and/or developer tools.

Who You Are

  • You enjoy understanding how systems work and how they fit together.
  • You’re a clear communicator who thrives on turning complexity into clarity.
  • You enjoy partnering with engineers and digging into technical detail.
  • You ask thoughtful questions, especially when information is ambiguous or incomplete.
  • You care deeply about quality, reliability, and building scalable, well-designed systems.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days, you will:

  • Build a deep understanding of our product offerings, growth strategy, product management processes, architecture, services, and domain.
  • Develop strong working relationships across Product and Engineering.
  • Take ownership of technical discovery for at least one product area.

By 6 months, you will:

  • Lead solution design and technical requirements for key initiatives.
  • Be the go-to person for translating product intent into technical clarity.
  • Work with Product Managers to improve documentation, processes, or workflows within your product domain.

By 12 months, you will:

  • Influence architecture and product strategy through technical insight.
  • Drive technical clarity at scale across multiple products or services.
  • Play a major role in the quality, reliability, and evolution of our platform.
