Messangi is seeking a high-performing Account Executive focused on Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) in Latin America to drive new business and strategic partnerships. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing ISV partners that can embed Messangi’s CPaaS and messaging capabilities into their own platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B SaaS or CPaaS sales, experience selling platform or API-based solutions, and is comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder organizations. Success in this role requires a consultative mindset, strong sales discipline, and the ability to articulate both technical and business value to product, commercial, and executive stakeholders.

This role is critical to Messangi’s growth strategy in LatAm, enabling ISVs across industries such as Fintech, Retail, MarTech, Health, Logistics, Hospitality, and Enterprise Software to leverage messaging channels like SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, and Email.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Pipeline Management

  • Build and maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline of ISV opportunities within a defined territory or vertical focus.
  • Proactively source new business through outbound prospecting, ecosystem relationships, and inbound marketing leads.
  • Identify high-potential ISVs whose platforms can benefit from embedded messaging and customer engagement capabilities.

Consultative Selling & Value Positioning

  • Develop a deep understanding of Messangi’s platform, APIs, white-label capabilities, and differentiation versus competitors.
  • Conduct discovery-driven, consultative sales conversations with product leaders, commercial teams, and C-level executives at ISVs.
  • Clearly articulate the business, technical, and commercial value of integrating Messangi into ISV platforms (time to market, monetization, scalability, regional reach).

Deal Execution & Commercial Ownership

  • Own the full sales cycle: qualification, solution alignment, commercial negotiation, contract execution, and handoff to onboarding.
  • Negotiate initial agreements, renewals, and expansions that align customer success with Messangi’s revenue and margin objectives.
  • Coordinate with legal, product, and technical teams to shepherd deals through complex negotiations when needed.

Forecasting & Sales Operations

  • Maintain exceptional CRM hygiene, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Forecast revenue and manage territory planning on a quarterly basis, with a strong focus on predictability and execution.

Requirements & Experience

Professional Experience

  • 7–10 years of proven success in B2B SaaS, CPaaS, MarTech, or platform-based sales.
  • Demonstrated experience selling API-driven, cloud-based, or embedded technology solutions.
  • Prior experience working with or selling to ISVs, software companies, or technology partners is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with industries such as Telecom, Fintech, Banking, Retail, or MarTech is a plus.

Sales Skills & Competencies

  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas while maintaining a healthy pipeline.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
  • Comfortable engaging and influencing senior decision-makers, including product, technology, and executive leadership.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about forecast accuracy and sales hygiene.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills across phone, video, email, and in-person meetings.
