Job Description:
The Business Development Intern will join a rotational program across for key areas: Operations, Referral, SDR / Outbound, Sales. This structure is designed to give broad exposure to commercial processes, agent engagement, and lead-growth activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
Operations
- Support daily business development operations, including administrative tasks and coordination within the team.
- Assist in preparing basic reports, documentation, and internal materials to support decision-making.
- Assist with market research, lead identification, and data-related activities.
Referral
- Contribute to referral and partner development initiatives, including assisting in agent engagement and supporting agent acquisition activities in a general capacity.
- Help with network-building efforts, such as supporting events and maintaining partner-related records.
SDR / Outbound
- Collaborate with internal teams on outreach, campaign preparation, and communication materials.
- Participate in various outbound initiatives, including engagement activities as needed.
- Maintain well-organized records and ensure information accuracy across internal tools.
Sales
- Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, tender documents, and sales-related materials.
- Support sales discussions and assist in client negotiations, ensuring solutions offered are aligned with the companys product capabilities.
- Help coordinate preparation for sales meetings, including gathering client data, preparing slides, or supporting demo readiness.
Requirements:
- Final-year university student or Bachelors degree graduate.
- Preferred educational background: Business or Engineering.
- Able to communicate effectively in English (spoken & written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data cleaning, tables).
- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset e.g., campus entrepreneurship, fundraising activities, or previous business development internships.
- Has organizational experience in student clubs, committees, or project teams.
- Strong public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.
- Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Upholds values of integrity, responsibility, and amanah in daily work
