Responsibilities:

Create specifications, test cases, and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products. Work closely with business analysts, developers and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in designs. Solicit customers for feedback regarding product usability and desired future enhancements. Create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans and cases. Understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications. Serve as liaison with development, project management, and customer support. Test software application independently. Identify potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management. Ensure validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes. Estimate test creation and test execution based on user stories and dividing work within the QA resources. Work closely with Manager and team to implement QA processes. Review test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan. Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data and data validation. Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results. Provide prompt feedback to team on results of in-sprint testing, regression testing, and post release testing. Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or related field of study and
  • 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering. Employer will also accept a
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or related field of study and
  • 5 years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering in lieu of a Master’s degree or equivalent and 3 year of experience.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:

  • 3 years (5 years with Bachelor’s) of experience with Java or .NET programming.
  • hands-on experience with Jmeter.
  • functional testing, integration testing, API testing and end-to-end testing of overall platforms under development.
  • writing automated unit tests using JUnit with REST Assured, HttpClient, and SoapClient.
  • hands-on experience writing automation tests for mobile app UI and Microservices.
  • using SoapUI and Postman for API tests.
  • Appium, SOAP, REST, Spring Boot, Mockito, Jenkins, Maven or Gradle, Intelli J or Visual Studio, SQL Server or Oracle, Postman, Selenium, and Grid.
  • domain knowledge in health care (to include Senior Living, HL7 or FHIR messages).

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

Base Pay Range for this position: $124,883 - $148,000 per year.
