The internship will focus on all departments within Accounts Receivable, including, but not limited to Billing, Cash Management, Contract Closeout, and other duties as assigned. The selected interns will provide back-up to Billing staff during peak, close time, as well as learn the fundamentals of government accounting.
Currently, ManTech is seeking motivated and energetic college-enrolled individuals, who are eager and excited to learn. The individuals will join as an Accounts Receivable Intern within the Accounts Receivable Department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Interns will be responsible for the learning and application of standard government contracting accounting procedures. Responsibilities include the completion of cost accumulation worksheets to support closeout packages, surge support to the Billing staff through the submission of monthly invoices via WAWF and other submission systems, assisting the Cash Management department with making copies of monthly close documents and the completion of packaging of documents for submission to Corporate Accounts Payable, and learning the basic fundamentals of invoicing with the aim of completing simple invoices.
Basic Qualifications:
- Rising sophomore through Rising senior
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure and use of Microsoft Office Suite
Clearance Requirements:
- Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.
- Applicants with the appropriate skills but without a security clearance are still encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
