Senior Data Analyst

Mama Money is a growth-stage fintech on a mission to improve the financial lives of migrants and underserved communities. We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data team and become the go-to person for deep analysis, experimentation, and decision support across the business.

Requirements

• 4+ years in a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer role, ideally in fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, or another high-volume consumer business
• Advanced SQL
• Strong experimentation experience where you’ve designed and analysed A/B tests, understand statistical significance, sample sizing, and common experimentation pitfalls
• Cohort and behavioural analysis: you’re comfortable building retention curves, funnel analyses, LTV models, and segmentation
• BI tools: hands-on experience with Tableau (preferred) or another major BI platform such as Power BI, Looker, or Metabase
• Python or R for analysis (Pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn or equivalent)
• Storytelling: you can take a messy question and come back with a clear, honest, decision-ready answer
• Stakeholder skills: comfortable working across Product, Engineering, and Operations
