At Luscii, we build digital health platforms that create space for care. Our technology supports patients, clinicians and healthcare systems worldwide and is used by millions of people through OMRON Connect. As a Cloud Developer, you will work on backend systems that run at scale and play a critical role in how digital healthcare is delivered globally.
In this role, you will focus on backend and cloud development, designing and building highly available, secure and scalable services that support complex clinical workflows. You will collaborate closely with peers, engineers, product designers and healthcare domain experts to translate real-world care needs into robust, production-ready solutions. You will have a strong voice in architectural decisions, technical direction and long-term platform evolution.
Your work enables large-scale remote patient monitoring and helps healthcare professionals reduce administrative burden, allowing them to spend more time with patients. Working in a remote-first, holacratic environment, you will have the autonomy to take ownership, lead by example and contribute beyond your immediate scope where you see opportunities to increase impact.
What you will do
Design, develop and own backend services, with a strong focus on scalability, security and long-term maintainability;
Build and operate cloud-native systems using modern cloud platforms such as AWS;
Make architectural decisions around distributed systems, APIs, data storage and event-driven architectures;
Write high-quality, testable code and lead by example in code reviews and engineering best practices;
Improve observability, performance and reliability of production systems through monitoring, alerting and incident response;
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape new product features from early design through production;
Mentor engineers, share knowledge and actively contribute to a strong and mature engineering culture.
