Colombia onlyThe WordPress Developer Contractor will support the Web team in building customized WordPress websites for clients as part of the overall site redesign process on projects as assigned. This primarily takes place on a project basis and includes everything from sitemap creation to website production.
Requirements
As a Front End/WordPress Developer, you will...
- Develop and customize WordPress websites for a variety of industries, business sizes, and brand styles
- Meet with clients at the beginning of projects to gather insights and begin formulating plans for site design and development
- Assist in the creation of project timelines, sitemaps, and wireframes
- Communicate project deliverables and timelines to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with website launches
- Work cross-channel with SEO and Creative teammates (writers, graphic designers) when projects require
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with the following:
- Creating and launching applications from start to finish
- Advanced WordPress customization (experience with custom templates and post types a plus)
- Creation of custom CSS to style applications
- HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and Javascript
- Visual Composer
- Experience with Siteground and Adobe Suite a plus
- Ability to manage change and maintain a positive attitude
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Communicates/cooperates well with others in a team
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and open to feedback / different approaches
- Minimum 2 years industry experience (outside of school)
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Siteground
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite and graphic design
- Expertise in UX/UI
- Examples of sitemaps and wireframes you have created
