Local Progress and Local Progress Impact Lab are seeking a Program Director to lead their staff in organizing and overseeing programs and campaign work, particularly related to issues of racial and economic justice. The role involves strategic planning, staff development, and building partnerships with a range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong relational organizing skills and a commitment to social justice.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of organizing, strategic campaigning, and/or advocacy experience.
- 3+ years of demonstrated success in supervising staff.
- Experience in relational organizing and the ability to move to action.
- Experience in an LP or related issue area.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
- Commitment to inside/outside strategy and movement governance.
