We have an exciting opportunity in a well-established IT service management team for an Enterprise Operations Centre Officer. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong creative problem-solving, attention to detail, and customer service.

Working on one of our large Government clients accounts, this role will coordinate IT Service Leads from across the Multi-Vendor Environment to ensure all system and infrastructure management of the services are monitored and reported on effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring the health of key services and systems for a large client organisation during your defined shift.
  • Assess and log incidents for anomalies found while monitoring key systems or when alerts are received.
  • Engaging in continual service improvement activities to support and improve the existing Event Management process.
  • Participate, host, and chair daily meetings between key stakeholders to ensure operational readiness for the business day.
  • Provide daily reports reflective of operational, business, and executive priorities and informational needs.
  • Provide updates via email and text communication methods to select key stakeholders at set intervals and as production issues arise.
  • Provide a central point of contact for the client executive team.
  • Provide a central point of contact for select external agencies to liaise with our client.
  • Perform after-hours change management assessments and approvals.
  • Assisting in release management activities.
  • Collaborate closely with key ITIL towers both internal and external. Including but not limited to; incident management, change management, release management, problem management and event management teams.

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring

  • Previous service management experience – highly desirable
  • Previous experience using the ServiceNow platform – desirable
  • ITIL V3/V4 Foundations or higher – desirable
  • Experience within a ‘Service Integration and Management (SIAM)’ structure – desirable
  • Must be able to work shift work on a 24 x 7 rotating roster.
