Senior Platform Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Platform Engineer plays a key role in accelerating software delivery across Lambda by building and evolving the internal platforms, tooling, and workflows that engineers rely on every day. As part of the Platform Engineering team, this position focuses on improving the developer experience, streamlining the software delivery lifecycle, and creating scalable self-service solutions that enable more than 200 engineers to build, test, and ship software efficiently and reliably.

What You Will Do

Accelerate software delivery by designing and building internal tools and services that reduce friction for engineering teams. Own and evolve our CI/CD infrastructure, build and maintain paved paths, build release engineering tooling, and identify bottlenecks in developer workflows.

You should have a strong foundation in infrastructure-as-code, cloud environments, and CI/CD systems, and be comfortable with ambiguity and energized by defining the problem before solving it.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, release engineering, developer tooling, or a closely related discipline
• Production-quality software writing skills
• Deep experience with CI/CD systems
