LainaHealth began as IncludeHealth, where the team set out to lower the barriers that prevent people from remaining active and healthy. Its early work focused on designing an accessible, connected functional trainer, establishing the company’s focus on inclusive design and technology-enabled care. That original idea evolved into a broader mission: use design, clinical expertise, and technology to make musculoskeletal treatment more accessible, measurable, and affordable. The company later became LainaHealth, marking its transition from a connected fitness and wellness heritage into an integrated digital healthcare practice.

Today, LainaHealth operates a nationwide virtual physical therapy practice that works with health plans, self-insured employers, and provider organizations. Its LainaCare solution pairs licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy with Laina, a web-based AI assistant that provides automated reminders, real-time guidance, and computer-vision-based exercise feedback. LainaCollect complements this clinical model by automating patient and provider outcomes collection. Together, these solutions are intended to bring early, conservative MSK care upstream, reduce unnecessary imaging, injections, and surgery, shorten wait times, and help patients continue recovery without the practical barriers of travel or repeated clinic visits.
