FUEL PRICING ANALYST (Possibility of remote option)
The Kroger Co. is a major American grocery retail company operating nearly 2,800 stores across the United States, known for its diverse offerings and commitment to community sustainability.
- Apply data-driven analytics and reporting necessary to strengthen pricing recommendations that drive bottom line results
- Develop tools/reports to communicate pricing trends
- Be proactive in identifying innovative analytical solutions that may be used to drive business growth and develop recommendations
- Enhance relevant analytical tools that encompass pricing data, consumer trends, and customer segmentation, loyalty, and competitor insights
- Assist in developing pricing strategy presentations and communicate them to leadership
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience in technical or analytical role
- Proficient in a wide range of analytical, quantitative, and statistical techniques and tools to derive insights from large, complex data environments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all business matters
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with price management tools
- Exceptional ability to extract strategic insights from large data sets
