QA Engineer (Functional Testing)

Koombea is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure software quality through manual testing. The role includes creating and executing test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and approving releases to production throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in functional (manual) testing with end-to-end project experience.
• Familiarity with mobile automation frameworks (Appium is a plus).
• Experience with tools such as Android Studio, Xcode, Selenium, Postman, GitHub, and Figma.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP requests.
• Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and defect management tools.
• Performance testing (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
• Automation experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
• ISTQB certification is a nice-to-have.
• English proficiency is required for collaboration, but an advanced level is not mandatory.
