United States onlyKoniag Data Solutions, LLC is seeking a COBOL Developer with an active Secret security clearance to support KDS and our government customer. This position is remote & part-time.
Requirements
- Write and modify COBOL, COBOL Language Extender (COBOL LE), and IBM MVS JCL code
- Use tools such as DISA Multi-host Internet Access Portal (MIAP) and Reflection ZFE for 3270 terminal emulations
- Troubleshoot and fix production issues under guidance of senior team members
- Perform code testing and participate in code reviews
- Support FTP and SFTP transmission operations
- Implement Help Desk resolutions for Level II and III tickets
- Apply STIGs to applications as directed to ensure compliance
- Monitor database load and interface applications
- Provide technical support for the maintenance of data and related software modules
- Work with Change Requests (CR) and Deficiency Reports (DR) in the Information System Management Tool (ISMT)
- Support system releases, including documentation preparation
- Participate in team meetings and scrum ceremonies
- Create test cases and assist with test reports and summaries
