The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $96,800.00 -$172,800.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Do In This Role:

  • Participate in the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software.

  • Apply PLC code for semi-complex systems using standard practices.

  • Provide support in semi-complex material specification, schematic preparation, bill-of-materials development, and appropriate follow-up.

  • Propose ideas aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving customer happiness.

  • Independently run semi-complex projects through the project life cycle, including all design, documentation, and forecasting.

  • Assist in complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.

  • Troubleshoot programming and electrical issues that arise on site.

  • Interact directly with the customer on site.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Current hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers. Expertise with Allen Bradley, Schneider Unity, or Siemens TIA Portal preferred.

  • Demonstrated working understanding of design, layout, and use of current networks such as Profibus, ASi, and Ethernet.

  • Experience in writing descriptions of operations and developments of controls based physical layouts is encouraged.

  • Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage numerous opportunities and deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Current experience with the rigors of on-site startup/commissioning.

  • Experience with material handling systems is helpful.

  • 4-8 years of successful experience in a related field and successful demonstration of responsibilities as presented above.

  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree, where applicable.

  • Travel can range anywhere from 25% - 40% depending on the project and is typically on weekends and possibly over some holidays.

  • 4-year degree or equivalent in a related field.
