The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or PsyD) to join our research team on a contract basis, committing a minimum of 8 hours per week. In this position, you will administer the SCID-5 interview to consenting trial participants to diagnose Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).

Your expertise will be key in upholding the highest ethical standards and ensuring participant safety. You will contribute significantly to the successful execution and management of the trial, helping to drive its quality and positive outcomes.

We are currently prioritizing candidates who have an active PSYPACT or New York License. However, we are considering all candidates licensed in the US with adequate SCID experience.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and assess the presence of depression and anxiety disorders in participants using standardized diagnostic criteria, including the use of the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 (SCID) to diagnose Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).

  • Document and report adverse events, ensuring participant safety throughout the trial.

  • Keep accurate and comprehensive clinical records of participant assessments.

  • Ensure timely and precise data collection for research purposes.

  • Effectively communicate with participants, clearly explaining trial procedures and expectations.

  • Maintain the highest ethical standards in research conduct, protecting the rights and well-being of participants.

  • Provide active state licensure information, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or PsyD) with 3+ years of clinical experience.

  • Must have experience administering at least ten SCID-5 assessments in practice to diagnose Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) within the last year.

  • Current, unrestricted license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Duration: 6 months

  • Commitment: Minimum of 8 hours per week

  • Compensation: Competitive based on experience and deliverables

  • Contract Type: Independent contractor (1099)
