As an international Language service provider for major video game publishers, Keywords Studios is highly committed to offer top quality localization to their customers, while complying to market requirements and making the most of new technologies.

In order to take up the new challenges on the gaming market, we are currently looking for new talents who would like to join our team of freelancetranslators and MT post-editors for the English to Canadian French language pair.

Please be advised that successful applicants need to be able to effectively communicate in English (both verbally and in writing). Indeed, this position will require constant communication with non-French-speaking members of the international Keywords Studios teams, located outside of the province of Quebec.

Requirements

Profil

  • Canadian French native speaker and fluency in English
  • Translation degree and/or significant professional translation experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience in translation/localization
  • Experience in MT post-editing
  • Experience in video game localization and/or avid passion for video games
  • Proficiency with CAT tools
  • Rigorous and methodical mind, and attention to details

  • Langue maternelle français canadien et anglais courant requis
  • Diplôme de traduction et/ou solide expérience professionnelle en traduction
  • Au moins 3 ans d'expérience en traduction/localisation
  • Expérience en post-édition de traduction automatique
  • Expérience en localisation de jeux vidéo et/ou passion pour les jeux vidéo
  • Maîtrise des outils de TAO
  • Rigueur, organisation et attention aux détails
