The Tribal Partnerships & Engagement Manager role involves building and nurturing long-term, trust-based relationships with Tribal communities, organizations, and leadership across the U.S. West Coast, while supporting opportunities in other regions with strong Tribal community presence across the U.S. The role requires a deep understanding of the cultural context, governance structures, and lived realities that shape how Tribal Nations engage with partners, as well as strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in community engagement, relationship-building, partnerships, outreach, program coordination, or related work.
- Demonstrated experience working with Tribal communities, organizations, or governments, or lived experience within Tribal communities.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse groups and settings.
