Kainos is a leading partner of Workday. This position isManageron ourAdaptive PlanningProfessional Services team, who help our clients transform their business planning needs (budgeting, revenue, personnel, KPIs, quotas/capacity, territories, reporting & analytics) withWorkday Adaptive Planning. You will work as a leader of a delivery team responsible for implementations for customers of all sizes, across multiple industries. You’llbe an expert in your field, using your technical and professionalexpertiseto mentor and guide your team members, andbuildingandimprovingAdaptive Planning knowledge in Kainos and the Workday community.
You will be expected tospend much of your time acting as a Senior Adaptive Planning consultant:
Maintainproficiencyand certification in the Adaptive Planning application
Lead all phases of Adaptive Planning implementation projects, including:
Work with clients to understand their current planning process, and take a consultative approach to move legacy models into Adaptive Planning
Leverage yourexpertiseto recommend the best solution based on the client’s requirements, budget, andtimeframe, with the flexibility to adapt the scope asadditionalneeds areidentified
Guide clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of each client’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project
Develop and configureaccurateforecasting and planning models in Adaptive Planning to meet clients’ business needs
Plan and conduct training sessions for users
Document the planning models and reporting delivered to clients
Ensure rapid time to value through delivering engagements on time and budget
Communicate regularly, concisely, and clearly with customers and internal project teams to set proper expectations and ensure customer success
Provide general customer service andassistanceto customers and serve as the go-to resource on all project related inquiries
You will also be expected to manage direct reports on the Consulting team:
Set, review, and refine your and your team’s goals to be aligned with Kainos company goals; provide support so that your and your team’s goals can be achieved
Ensure all team members receive regularand constructivefeedback
Have accountability for staffing andon-boardingof new team members
Act as a role model to other consultants; mentor more junior consultants
Review performance against goals and provide feedbackona timelyfashion
Be responsible and aware of your team’sutilization; review weekly workload forecasting (staff allocations and timesheet checks) andutilization
Be actively involved in recruitment/interviews
Collaborate internally to share learnings and problems solved
Minimum (essential) requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or Businessrequired
10+ years’ experience in accounting/financial management– particularly budgeting and planning and management reporting – preferred
2 - 4 years' experience implementing at least one Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion) preferred
Advanced or expertproficiencyin Excel, in particular designing and building complex financial planning models
Experience as a people manager
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Aptitude for learningnew technologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously and capable of managing multiple deadlines
Organized, thorough, process-driven
Previousconsulting experience is ideal
