This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of modern, high-performance user interfaces that power innovative web applications. Accountabilities
As a UI Lead Developer, you will:
- Lead front-end development initiatives using React.js, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into intuitive UI solutions.
- Build and maintain reusable component libraries, design systems, and front-end frameworks.
- Optimize front-end performance and ensure cross-browser and device compatibility.
- Implement and manage Service Workers to enable offline capabilities and progressive web app features.
- Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and offer technical guidance to junior developers.
- Explore and adopt AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development with strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of component-based architecture and state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.).
- Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite, and familiarity with REST/GraphQL API integration.
- Exposure to AI-driven code editors or development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, TabNine, CodeWhisperer).
- Hands-on experience implementing Service Workers and PWA features for offline functionality.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading UI teams in agile environments.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining high code quality and user experience standards.
