This role provides the opportunity to maintain, optimize, and expand critical IT systems that drive business operations and digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows, implement automation, and leverage AI solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability across the organization. The position emphasizes rapid iteration, continuous improvement, and hands-on involvement in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and scripting for process automation. You will serve as a key technical liaison, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs. Accountabilities:
- Analyze operational workflows using lean practices to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Develop, maintain, and document processes for IT systems and automation initiatives.
- Support digital transformation programs and operational excellence projects.
- Build features and systems that improve efficiency across the organization.
- Write scripts and automation solutions for repetitive tasks, data processing, and reporting.
- Integrate with Microsoft 365 applications, APIs, and other platforms for advanced automation.
- Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure while collaborating with engineering and technical teams.
- Champion agile software development processes, including code reviews, design reviews, and operational support.
- Communicate insights, progress, and technical recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.
- Collaborate with external technology teams for integration and process optimization.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of systems administration experience across Windows, Mac, or Linux environments.
- At least 2 years of networking experience (TCP/IP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, Python, PowerShell, or VBA.
- Experience with automation development and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with databases like SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and web services.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Power Automate and other workflow automation tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing or architecting scalable and reliable systems.
- Programming experience with modern languages (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, Ruby, etc.).
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with DevOps automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
