This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff FedRAMP DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and maintain advanced infrastructure supporting cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. You will work across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, building scalable, fault-tolerant systems while ensuring compliance with federal security standards. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of cryptographers, ML experts, and engineers, you will integrate research innovations into operational products. The position involves designing and automating CI/CD pipelines, maintaining development environments, and contributing to FedRAMP-compliant deployments. Ideal candidates are hands-on engineers with a strong understanding of cloud architectures, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code practices. This is a remote position within the U.S., offering exposure to impactful projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize infrastructure for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid deployments.
- Collaborate with developers, cryptographers, and scientists to integrate research advancements into operational products.
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant cloud architectures and ensure high availability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and automated testing workflows.
- Support FedRAMP compliance and related federal security requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of systems, deployments, and processes.
- Contribute to rapid prototyping and problem-solving in a fast-moving team environment.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship and/or eligibility for government security clearance due to federal contract requirements.
- Strong experience in AWS infrastructure design, management, and automation.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Solid scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems and automating deployments.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a small team and adapt to rapidly changing priorities and fluid project requirements.
- Bonus: experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet), Bazel, or streaming frameworks like Kafka/KStreams.
