As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering sleek, intuitive user interfaces that power a leading Access Intelligence platform. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative agile environment, you will experiment, iterate, and bring new product features to life while contributing to key architectural decisions. This role offers the chance to tackle challenging problems in identity and access management while using cutting-edge technologies. You will work alongside talented engineers, designers, and product managers, helping shape the user experience for enterprise clients.
Accountabilities
- Build and enhance user interface features using React, TypeScript, and CSS, ensuring top performance and maintainability.
- Develop automated tests including unit (Jest) and end-to-end (Cypress) to ensure robust and reliable front-end code.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new features, bug fixes, and technical improvements.
- Contribute to key architectural and design decisions, driving best practices across the codebase.
- Utilize Storybook for component documentation and promote consistent UI patterns across the product.
- Monitor metrics and telemetry systems to optimize the frontend experience and proactively resolve issues.
- Communicate and coordinate with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and conflict resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing frontend applications using React, TypeScript, CSS, and Jest.
- Strong experience with React hooks, complex state management (Zustand, Jotai, Redux), and asynchronous state handling.
- Proficiency in testing frameworks including Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with Storybook to document and maintain UI components.
- Strong understanding of delivering consistent user experiences and handling multiple-actor interactions.
- Familiarity with metrics, telemetry systems, and performance optimization strategies.
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills with an ownership mindset.
