We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to lead the design and delivery of complex technical projects. In this role, you will serve as both a hands-on engineer and a strategic architect, ensuring that each client solution is built to align with best practices, business goals, and long-term scalability. You will oversee client onboarding, project planning, and implementation while maintaining strict adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Your ability to combine technical expertise with leadership and client communication will be key to driving successful outcomes and long-term partnerships.
Accountabilities:
- Lead client onboarding by conducting technical assessments, documenting environments, and integrating systems with ticketing and monitoring platforms.
- Design and implement network projects, including upgrades, migrations, and security-focused improvements.
- Architect tailored technology solutions by evaluating client needs and producing detailed scopes of work (SOWs) and cost estimates.
- Develop comprehensive project work plans defining phases, resources, dependencies, and checklists to ensure execution consistency.
- Oversee implementation activities, ensuring solutions are aligned with client requirements and delivered within scope, time, and budget.
- Maintain clear and complete documentation throughout project lifecycles and ensure usability by support teams.
- Track KPIs and project metrics including utilization, error rate, and budget adherence to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client and project objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role in IT services or managed environments.
- Strong expertise in networking technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless configurations.
- Advanced understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, backups, monitoring tools, and security baselines.
- Proficiency in designing project plans, migration roadmaps, and standardized documentation.
- Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and compliance with established standards.
- Familiarity with project tracking, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
