We are seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services and integrations for a high-impact identity and access management (IAM) platform. This role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that enable seamless identity lifecycle management, access intelligence, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and security experts to implement robust APIs, microservices, and cloud-based systems. The position offers the opportunity to work in an innovative, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly enhance platform functionality and customer experience.
Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices for IAM integrations.
- Implement identity lifecycle management features, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control policies.
- Develop Access Intelligence capabilities that provide actionable insights from customer environments.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and audit readiness through logging, monitoring, and automation.
- Continuously optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability through code reviews, testing, and refactoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in IAM and backend engineering to drive innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in backend software development, ideally with IAM, security, or related domains.
- Strong proficiency in Golang, Java, or other backend programming languages.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Solid understanding of authentication and authorization protocols and security best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IAM-related services.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching strategies, and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
