As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients understand and implement complex software solutions, directly influencing their business outcomes. You will work closely with sales teams to deliver tailored demonstrations, facilitate trials, and guide clients through technical evaluations. By combining deep product expertise with strong business acumen, you will translate customer requirements into actionable solutions, building trust and demonstrating the transformative value of the platform. This role requires a balance of technical problem-solving, communication, and creativity to meet the needs of diverse mid-market clients. You will also contribute to shaping internal processes and solutions to enhance overall customer success and team efficiency.
Accountabilities
- Partner with sales teams to drive mid-market deals, providing technical expertise and solutions guidance.
- Deliver personalized product demonstrations and facilitate well-structured product trials that align with client needs.
- Coordinate and respond to RFPs, ensuring technical accuracy and business relevance.
- Gather and translate customer feedback into actionable insights for product improvements.
- Design and maintain scalable demo environments and repeatable processes for the Solutions Engineering team.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with client requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or similar role in SaaS, supporting complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of HR or Talent Acquisition workflows, with empathy for client challenges.
- Deep product expertise and ability to quickly connect product capabilities to business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience creating and delivering tailored product demos, adapting on the fly to client questions.
- Familiarity with demo infrastructure, demo engineering, or value engineering is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with account executives, product teams, and other stakeholders.
