Software Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer

In this role, you’ll contribute to the transformation of the insurance industry by developing, maintaining, and optimizing innovative SaaS-based solutions. You’ll collaborate with global teams of engineers and product managers to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality software that powers mission-critical systems. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and deliver robust, scalable software features within an agile development environment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that aligns with internal standards and architectural guidelines.
• Develop and update automated test systems to maintain quality and reliability during product evolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Monitor and improve application performance across production and non-production environments.
• Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently while supporting continuous improvement.
• For senior-level engineers: provide technical guidance, mentor teammates, and contribute to key architectural and strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development (8+ years for senior-level roles).
• Strong knowledge of Golang, Python, Bash, Node.js, React, Terraform, and gRPC.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, Docker, Argo, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, microservices, infrastructure as code (IaC), and asynchronous messaging.
• Knowledge of NoSQL/RDBMS, object storage, and web authentication/authorization.
• Experience with AI and ML tools such as OpenAI, Vertex AI, or Azure ML is a plus.
• For senior-level roles: proven leadership in guiding teams, leading technical discussions, and mentoring peers.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
