We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join a dynamic platform engineering team focused on building scalable, high-performance systems for a cutting-edge data orchestration platform. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure that power cloud-based solutions used by thousands of organizations worldwide. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges, enhance system stability, and deliver impactful features. Accountabilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize core backend systems and infrastructure components.
- Ensure scalability, efficiency, and reliability of platform services through analysis and iterative improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Review code and system designs to maintain high standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the evolution of platform APIs and supporting systems.
- Participate in problem-solving, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of software system design, including scalability, third-party integrations, and API design.
- Experience working with large-scale distributed systems or B2B SaaS platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with modern infrastructure tools, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and relational databases (Postgres).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and best practices in engineering.
- Nice-to-have: experience with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and data engineering tools in the Modern Data Stack.
