In this role, you will have a significant impact on ensuring the reliability and performance of the infrastructure that powers key products for our customers. Your work will directly contribute to minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency, which is crucial for maintaining revenue streams. As part of a high-velocity, collaborative team, you'll build scalable solutions in a hybrid work environment that values customer centricity and attention to detail.
Accountabilities
- Lead infrastructure resiliency efforts including recovery mechanisms, tenant isolation, and load spike handling
- Improve observability and operability of systems
- Build performance-critical, user-facing infrastructure like real-time event processing
- Plan and execute scaling initiatives for customer growth
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure reliability of product features
- Mentor fellow engineers and share expertise
Requirements
- Deep understanding of edge cases, failure modes, and bottlenecks
- Strong investigation and debugging skills for tricky errors and performance issues
- Experience in building scalable infrastructure for high-growth products
- Ability to mentor others in best practices for observability and risk mitigation
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in the infrastructure domain
