This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge, cloud-native platform designed for enterprise Kubernetes management. As a Software Engineer on the Advanced Projects Team, you will design, optimize, and maintain GoLang-based microservices while ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging automation, scripting, and rigorous testing to deliver clean, efficient, and secure code. Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain GoLang-based microservices for a cloud-native enterprise platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
- Develop and implement automation and scripting to support seamless platform operations.
- Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in platform optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to influence platform innovation.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in GoLang programming and microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, including the operator pattern.
- Experience designing REST APIs and working with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Familiarity with Linux environments and common Linux commands.
- Highly preferred: CKA or CKAD certification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability to ambiguity and a test-and-learn approach to complex challenges.
