Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side services and APIs using Golang.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and user-focused solutions.
- Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Implement automation, testing, and observability practices to continuously improve development quality.
- Participate in architectural discussions, design patterns, and distributed system planning.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in Golang.
- Proven experience designing and building scalable enterprise applications and APIs.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and backend architecture.
- Hands-on experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern infrastructure practices (CI/CD, containers, microservices).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
