In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality, full-stack software solutions that meet client needs and align with strategic goals. You will work across both front-end and back-end technologies, providing technical leadership and guidance while ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will mentor junior engineers, make critical development decisions, and influence project direction. Accountabilities:
- Lead full-stack software development projects, delivering robust and efficient digital solutions.
- Collaborate with management, product, and design teams to define development strategy and vision.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote team skill development.
- Take ownership of application codebases, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while applying lessons learned for system improvement.
- Present design documents, system diagrams, and technical updates to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Propose and evaluate multiple technical approaches and champion best practices in software development and system architecture.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expertise in front-end development with JavaScript and React.
- 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Experience working with external APIs and integrating diverse systems.
- Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to obtain low-level security clearance; U.S. citizenship or legal resident required.
