This role provides strategic leadership over large-scale IT programs, ensuring consistent delivery, high performance, and alignment with organizational goals. You will oversee multiple projects across both agile and waterfall methodologies, coordinating resources, budgets, and timelines while mentoring program managers and teams. The position involves driving efficiency, standardizing processes, resolving risks, and enhancing interdependencies across complex IT programs. Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage multiple complex IT programs from initiation to operational delivery.
- Oversee project managers and scrum masters, providing guidance, oversight, and remediation for challenged projects.
- Develop, implement, and track program plans, budgets, staffing, quality, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate alignment between IT teams, business units, and stakeholders, ensuring successful execution of objectives.
- Establish and maintain client relationships, providing regular status updates, reporting milestones, and highlighting critical issues.
- Mentor and coach program managers and coordinators to enhance team capabilities and knowledge sharing.
- Identify areas for process improvement, share lessons learned, and encourage best practices across IT project teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience with 5–7 years managing IT programs.
- Strong experience with project and risk management, including planning, monitoring, and delivering large programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to budgets.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, identify problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration in enterprise environments.
