Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Remote - US)

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge embedded audio and digital systems in a collaborative, innovative environment. The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will contribute to the development of high-performance networked audio products, working closely with cross-functional teams of hardware and software engineers. This position combines hands-on coding with system design, quality assurance, and collaboration on complex projects spanning MCU, DSP, embedded Linux, and Windows platforms. The engineer will have the chance to grow technically, tackle challenging problems, and contribute to software that powers products in live sound, cinema, and office AV markets. Accountabilities

• Develop embedded software for networked audio amplifiers and endpoints as part of a distributed software team.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to design and implement robust, maintainable embedded systems.
• Work with Software Quality Assurance to develop test strategies and deliver bug-free features and updates.
• Participate in team knowledge sharing to continuously grow skills in embedded audio systems.
• Contribute to software development across MCU, DSP, embedded Linux, and Windows platforms.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to ensure product requirements are met and technical challenges are addressed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a software or firmware engineer.
• Strong programming skills in C and/or C++.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Desire to work in a deep technology stack for embedded systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and creative environment.
• Experience in digital audio, custom hardware software development, and additional development on Windows, Linux, or Android platforms is a plus.
