  • Knowledge of ETL processes, secure data migration, and Oracle GoldenGate or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of database access control, encryption, and federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for effective collaboration in Agile teams.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and attention to detail in maintaining data governance and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degrees or certifications in database management (e.g., CISSP).
  • Experience with government financial systems or defense contracting environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based database architectures (Azure, AWS), disaster recovery, and high-availability design.
  • Knowledge of DFAS operations, military retirement/annuity systems, and data classification policies.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in government contracting environments

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Paid holidays and vacation time.
  • Professional development opportunities and certification support.
  • Collaborative, mission-driven work environment.
  • Exposure to high-impact, modernization projects with secure, cloud-native database architectures.
