We are seeking a hands-on and highly technical engineer to lead the design and development of data pipelines, API integrations, and business intelligence dashboards. In this role, you will build and maintain data flows across multiple platforms, turning raw information into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, automate reporting processes, and ensure seamless data connectivity. Accountabilities
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations to connect diverse systems.
- Develop robust ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various internal and external sources.
- Build and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau, ensuring clarity, performance, and accuracy.
- Automate recurring reports and data workflows to streamline business processes.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and enhance existing integrations and dashboards to improve performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages, with a strong focus on backend development.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working on relational databases (knowledge of NoSQL is a plus).
- Solid experience in API integrations (REST, JSON/XML, webhooks) and building scalable data connections.
- Strong expertise with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau, including data modeling, DAX/SQL, and dashboard design.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills, with an eye for data accuracy and consistency.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or data orchestration tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP, finance, or operations data is considered a plus.
- Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
