We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS and a strong foundation in security. This role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining highly scalable cloud architectures that support large-scale, high-volume data processing, particularly in IoT environments. You will work closely with development teams to implement automated pipelines, manage cloud resources, and optimize system performance. The position requires hands-on administration of AWS services, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring security and operational excellence. This is a high-impact role that blends architecture, development, and operational responsibilities in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Accountabilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure, highly scalable AWS-based infrastructures.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
- Administer Linux servers, databases, and orchestration pipelines.
- Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize Node.js and Java applications for performance and reliability.
- Assist with cloud security, monitoring, and compliance best practices.
- Troubleshoot, tune, and resolve operational issues to ensure system stability.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of high-volume IoT event streaming systems.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration and system deployment.
- Proficiency with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
- Skilled in Node.js and/or Java development stacks.
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.
