Senior Backend .NET Engineer (Remote - Latam)

As a Senior Backend .NET Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering robust software solutions for complex business challenges. You will work on high-impact projects, using .NET Desktop and VB6 technologies, and deploy scalable applications on cloud platforms like AWS. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, optimize system performance, and ensure reliability across solutions. This role emphasizes autonomy, creative problem-solving, and ownership over your work, while allowing you to grow your expertise in backend development and cloud architecture. You will have the opportunity to influence architecture decisions and contribute to high-quality, scalable software that directly impacts clients’ operations across the region.

Accountabilities

• Lead the design and development of backend applications using .NET Desktop and VB6 technologies.
• Deploy and manage solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve concurrency issues, perform application profiling, and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and align architecture with business objectives.
• Continuously improve code quality, system reliability, and development processes.
• Act as a technical expert in key areas, providing guidance and mentorship where needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience with .NET for Desktop development.
• 5+ years of experience working with VB6 applications.
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL, including query design, optimization, and data operations.
• Proven experience deploying and managing solutions on AWS.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Advanced English proficiency (required for client communication and collaboration).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage complex projects.
