This role provides a high-level opportunity to shape and deliver security strategies for enterprise clients, focusing on Oracle Fusion Middleware and WebLogic environments. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients in implementing security best practices, reducing attack surfaces, and ensuring defense-in-depth strategies across complex systems. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with client-facing consulting, project leadership, and collaboration across global teams. You will contribute to defining security approaches within managed services, while staying ahead of emerging threats and industry trends. This is ideal for a seasoned security professional who enjoys solving challenging problems, mentoring others, and influencing large-scale IT environments. The role offers remote flexibility while engaging with a diverse range of clients and technical ecosystems.
Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize security operations for enterprise systems, with a focus on Oracle Fusion Middleware and WebLogic.
- Advise clients on security best practices, attack surface reduction, and defense-in-depth strategies for Oracle systems.
- Lead and execute security projects within support, managed services, and consulting engagements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and managers across regions to deliver security solutions effectively.
- Communicate clearly with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to defining and enhancing the company’s security approach for third-party support and managed services.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends relevant to Oracle, SAP, and VMware technologies.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience working with Oracle Fusion Middleware / Oracle EBS.
- 5+ years in a client-facing role within large organizations, preferably utilizing managed services.
- Extensive hands-on experience in hardening Oracle systems such as E-Business Suite.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware architecture and defense-in-depth strategies for WebLogic or similar application servers.
- Security or system hardening experience; relevant certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and understanding of multi-platform security architecture (network, firewall, compute, storage, database, and application).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and consultative skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven multitasking and project management capabilities, with a service-oriented mindset and customer engagement skills.
