This role offers an opportunity to lead and manage pharmaceutical support projects with a focus on REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy) programs. The REMS Project Manager will oversee projects from initiation through close-out, ensuring milestones are met on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, serve as a primary client contact, and maintain high-quality project documentation. This position provides a dynamic environment for professionals who enjoy solving complex challenges, driving process improvements, and making a meaningful impact on patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Accountabilities
- Lead project planning, organization, and execution from start-up through close-out, ensuring alignment with client requirements and contractual obligations.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables, including revenue tracking and invoicing.
- Develop and implement project plans, monitoring progress against established milestones, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholder meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and action logs.
- Supervise project teams and cross-functional areas supporting the project, providing guidance and performance oversight.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and facilitate communication between all parties.
- Support process improvement initiatives, maintain “audit-ready” documentation, and participate in sponsor/regulatory audits as required.
- Assist in protocol development, patient consent forms, REMS documents, and other clinical materials as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; relevant managerial or clinical project experience required.
- Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.
- Excellent supervisory, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to independently assess issues, mitigate risks, and implement solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ICH guidelines.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in pharmaceutical or clinical project settings.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
- Solution-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
