This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, real-time analytics solutions in a globally distributed team environment. You will focus on ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of software products while collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders. The QA Engineer will design and execute automated and manual tests, identify defects, and verify that solutions meet rigorous functional and performance standards. Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans for new and existing features, ensuring functionality, performance, and security.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using standardized tools and processes.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to provide timely feedback and facilitate rapid issue resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality and reliability.
- Evaluate software specifications and ensure compliance with functional and technical requirements.
- Assist in defining QA processes, standards, and best practices across distributed teams.
- Monitor product performance and user experience, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a similar QA role.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with performance, security, and usability testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with global, distributed teams.
- Experience working in Agile/iterative development environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and issue tracking tools.
