Who We’re Looking For
- Takes full ownership of quality assurance efforts across manual and automated testing workflows
- Designs, builds, and maintains automation frameworks to support platform scalability and feature stability
- Defines QA strategies for platform services, APIs, data pipelines, and UI workflows
- Works closely with platform, product, and data engineering teams to ensure test coverage and reproducibility
- Brings rigor to performance testing including stress, load, and integration tests
- Ensures high test coverage and defect prevention through clear requirements analysis and proactive collaboration
- Investigates production issues, triages bugs, and improves overall test reliability
- Writes clear, maintainable test cases that evolve alongside our services and infrastructure
- Champions continuous improvement and scalable quality practices across the team
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of experience in software QA, with a strong blend of manual and automation testing
- Proficiency with writing automated tests in modern frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, etc.)
- Experience testing backend services, APIs, and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, SQS)
- Strong SQL and database validation skills, including hands-on experience with ORMs
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, k6)
- Ability to write test plans and strategies for complex systems and data flows
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and quality gates in build pipelines
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle in Agile environments
- Excellent communication and debugging skills
